Progression Guide
Introduction
This guide will help you to get introduced into the new Act. As you may know already, this act can only be play in the Soul Sync System.
First thing you will want to do is to go through the main quest. Act 8.2 quests start once you've completed Act 8 ones.
During your way through your questlines you'll receive three Partner Specialist Cards and Novice equipment pieces for you to put on them. This gear should be good enough to carry you through your first steps in the Act.
Preparation
Once your main quests are done. You have two options:
- Search for partners to raid with. You can purchase a
Bone Dragon's Raid Seal in any of the Commanders. Located in every village.
- You can start killing mobs in South Skytrail. You can reach it by interacting with the NPC located in the south of Dragonveil.
With both of this activies you will obtain valuable materials thet will help you progress to this act.
- With
Soul Essence,
Soul Powder,
Soul Gems and
Bone Dragon's Tooth you can increase the Perfection and Ascension level of your specialist cards.
- Though you may want to try and obtain better ones by crafting
Permanent Soul Fortune Wheel Spin Coupon or
Banner Soul Fortune Wheel Spin Coupon
You should also strive to obtain 4-Star equipment so you can replace your current one. It can be obtained by crafting by talking to Quartermaster Marto in Dragon Outpost, act 8.2's main city.
This equipment can be upgraded to +8 easily by using Partner Equipment Optimization Scroll. You can also bet it by using PvE Blessing Amulets. This ones can be obtained through many ways such as buying it Teodor Topp, located in EastVille or crafting it with Valyrian Coins in any Commander.
In both activities you will also obtain Artifacts. There are eight different sets of them. Depending on the role your specialist card has to fulfill in your team, you'll have to look for an specific set.
There are also four maps designed for the player to farm in them.
Forest Dragon is the map in which monsters from the Fire element are located. You will find the following Artifact sets there:
- Lord Quarry’s Artifact Set. Suited for Attack power and critical damage DPS Specialist Cards.
- Burning Fire Artifact Set. Suited for Fire Elemental Specialist Cards.
Dragon Graveyard is the map in which monsters from the Water element are located. You will find the following Artifact sets there:
- Holy Light Artifact Set. Suited for support Specialist Cards.
- Freezing Ice Artifact Set. Suited for Water Elemental Specialist Cards.
Power Station is the map in which monsters from the Light element are located. You will find the following Artifact sets there:
- Kenko Defensive Troop Artifact Set. Suited for tank Specialist Cards.
- Shining Light Artifact Set. Suited for Light Elemental Specialist Cards.
Floating Abyss is the map in which monsters from the Shadow element are located. You will find the following Artifact sets there:
- Desert Robber's Artifact Set. Suited for Skill Attack power Specialist Cards.
- Creeping Shadow Artifact Set. Suited for Shadow Elemental Specialist Cards.
Every map has two different section with different monsters. The stronger ones grant higher amounts of materials and 5-Star Artifacts.
As you progress in the act and improve your gear, you'll be able to increase the speed at which you complete raids and kill the monsters of the act's elemental maps.
Endgame Content
For the endgame content you may probably be focused on farming 5-Star artifacts in the stronger sections of the maps and raiding along other players.
